This is not a request for financial support…but it is a request to ask your help in making your congregation active participants in the fight to protect our religious freedom which is under attack in Illinois and across our country.
In the last presidential election, more than 60 million Christians were eligible to vote but only 30 million did. If 1 of every 3 Christians who sat on the sidelines in 2012 votes this November, there will be 10 million more Christians voting.
This is not an impossible goal. 2016 is the most important election in our lifetime for Christians.
We see everyday an unprecedented attack on biblically-based Christian values from the Judiciary, from government, from the secular media, and from Hollywood.
In Illinois, there are at least 2,900 biblically-based Christian churches. If each church were to register only 25 new voters between now and October 11th (registration deadline), we would have 72,500 more Christians eligible to vote in Illinois this November, this would turn Springfield upside down. You can help us achieve this goal.
We invite you to have a Religious Freedom Sunday at your church this Fall to give members and their families the opportunity to register if they have not already done so. David Barton of WallBuilders has also produced a 23 minute Religious Freedom Video for presentation to your congregation.
Please complete the enclosed Religious Freedom Sunday form and return it to us so that can help implement a successful voter registration at your church. You can also respond by going to our website 1UnderGod.com to let us know your plans.
Please remember that the One Nation Under God Foundation is a 501(c)3 and that everything we do is strictly non-partisan in our church voter registration efforts and education.
Our Founders created a Nation in which they stated in the Declaration of Independence that our rights are inalienable and come to us from God…not the government.
Now is the time for all Christians to protect those God-given rights.
May Our Lord bless you and your congregation abundantly.
